ACAR housing stats for September 2014
Although September 2014 stats did not match up evenly with those from 12 months earlier, our current year is poised to have a strong fourth quarter finish. The Boise market healed up a great deal in 2013, fueled in part by a surge in new construction sales in Meridian and east Boise communities. In my experience, new construction homes generally equates to about 20% of the overall sales in Boise. This past September, existing home sales captured 82% of the overall market, so if the 80/20 trend continues at year-end, we will see new construction sales rebound in the last three months. Here is a brief overview of the Ada County statistics:

- 3.9 months of Available Inventory
- 54 Days on Market is the Average
