ACAR reports similar figures to those reflected in September’s data. There were 1,950 Active Residential Listings in October. The Median Price has been straddling the $240,000 – $253,000 range for the past five months. Builders and developers continue to surge toward year-end, with a jump in the median price from $311,500 (in September) to $328,024 in October. Below are other key stats:

• $252,000 was the Median Price
• 43 was the Average Number of Days on Market

Only small changes from the July to the August housing stat report. The Boise market continues its consistent pace with 2,254 Active Residential Listings in August. The Median Price has been straddling the $240,000 – $253,000 range for the past three months. Looking at the statistics from July 2015, there are less homes on the market, with approximately 25% less Days on Market average, and the Median Price has increased by roughly 10%. • $253,000 was the Median Price
• 35 was the Average Number of Days on Market

ACAR Housing Stats for February 2016

The most notable statistic in February’s report is that the resale market rebounded from January. There were 985 existing homes on the market, which is an increase of 110 units over January’s figure (875). The shortage of inventory on the market, especially compared to ytd 2015 figures, continues to be a common conversation topic within the industry. Below are other key stats:
